sole sister spotlight: heather clark

meet heather clark! this sole sister has been impacting the wilmington community since 2001 through family, health, fitness, and FUN!

heather is a proud mom of four beautiful children - kynlee, connor, davis, and asher. her kids are her greatest accomplishment and her number one reasons for pursuing her best life. and let me tell you, she is a STELLAR mom. she gives everything she has to encourage her children, show them unconditional love, and lead through grace.

her second greatest passion (outside of her family)? empowering others to find their best self, along with a sense of true balance and abundant joy. with a bachelor of science in exercise physiology, a minor in nutrition, and years of experience working as a RN cardiac nurse, heather is very passionate about one’s overall health, especially when it comes to nutrition. she believes that what we eat fuels us to live our best lives possible! and she models that healthy lifestyle daily, leading her clients and friends through example. she considers herself incredibly blessed with the opportunity to share her passion and purpose, while still being able to stay at home with her kids.

life is chaotic and hard and messy, but heather knows that perseverance and trust in what God has planned for her life is what will keep her going. i (kathryn) consider myself beyond grateful to have the chance to work with heather on a daily basis at Axis Fitness + Training. she has taught me how to stay grounded on days when I feel like everything is out of my control. she has shown me what it looks like to show our hearts and our bodies GRACE. she is loyal. she is fierce. she is constant. and on top of all that, she has some of the most killer dance moves I have ever seen.
